Rose maroc is a type of rose—Rosa damascena—and is also known as French rose or Provence rose. Rose maroc oil is sometimes called Moroccan otto of rose or French otto of rose. Rose maroc absolute is a perfume oil whose rose scent is rich, soft and sweet. It is an uplifting oil with a wide range of potential health benefits.

Properties

The chemical composition of rose maroc absolute is quite complex, however its main components include citronellol, beta-phenylethanol, geraniol, nonadecane and nonadecene. These contribute to a range of properties that include antidepressant, antispasmodic, antiseptic, aphrodisiac, antiviral, astringent, depurative, bactericide, haemostatic, laxative, tonic and sedative.

How to use rose maroc absolute

Rose maroc absolute can be applied topically, in a diffuser, and in soap products.

Topical application

Rose maroc absolute can aid in the rejuvenation of mature skin. Create a nurturing massage oil by blending 2-3 drops with a carrier oil, or blend 2-3 drops with a moisturiser for use on the face and neck. 

Dilute 2-3 drops in bathwater for a calming, skin-soothing soak.

In a diffuser

Diffuse rose maroc absolute throughout your living space to create a soothing atmosphere and relieve nervous tension.

Blends deliciously with neroli or sandalwood essential oils.

In soap products

Bathing with soaps or bath bombs that include rose maroc absolute not only leave your skin with a deep, rosy scent, but will help to balance skin moisture while helping to reduce wrinkles.
